My feelings for peanut butter are not a secret. It all started with a peanut butter stuffed Kong toy that mom gave me on my birthday one year. Since then my love for the creamy, buttery, lip-smack-uttery (did I just make up a word?!) treat has blossomed.
How do you plan to celebrate this momentous month? If you’re a peanut butter lover like me you’ll want to try a few of my favorite recipes!
1. Peanut Butter Bacon Dog Treats
A treat with all my favorite ingredients! These are Christmas gift-worthy they’re so good. Wrap a little bow for Pinterest perfection and you’ll probably make a new best friend. These are made with 7 simple ingredients (peanut butter, eggs, milk, oats, baking powder, whole wheat flour and bacon). Check out the recipe here.
2. Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits
These are perfection! And a great replacement for milk bones and the like. These are made with 6 ingredients (peanut butter, eggs, whole wheat flour, baking powder, honey and water). Plus, check out the adorable personalized doggie cookie cutter from Etsy! Here’s the recipe.
3. Frozen Peanut Butter Banana Pops
These cool treats are a favorite summer snack, but I also love them at all the other times of the year! You can’t get much easier, with only 4 ingredients (peanut butter, mashed bananas or baby banana food, honey and yogurt). Check out the recipe here. Scroll down the page for this recipe, but you might find a few other goodies on the page, too!
4. Peanut Butter Pumpkin Balls
No bake = no waiting! I don’t have to sit drooling by the oven because mom rolls these up in a jiffy and voila! These are extra tasty if they sit in the fridge and harden up a bit. I’ve seen mom sneak a few of these for herself (don’t tell her I saw, though)! Only 5 ingredients in these balls (peanut butter, pumpkin, oats, cinnamon and honey). Check out the recipe here.
5. Pumpkin Peanut Butter Dog Treats
These are darn cute! Super easy to work with and you can choose any size and shape you like. Toss them in a Mason jar and you’re done! Just 4 ingredients in these treats (peanut butter, pumpkin, eggs and wheat flour). Check out the recipe here.

Use the hashtag #peanutbutterlovers and you will be entered to win a signed autograph copy of my book, The Adventures of Max: Runic and the Crystal Cave! Okay, my mom is the one who actually wrote it, but I was the inspiration, so that’s saying something!
