The New Year is a great time to set goals and more importantly, achieve them! We have twelve months, 52 weeks, 365 days to be who we really want to be and do what we have always wanted to do. I’ve been thinking long and hard about my resolutions for 2018, and maybe they will help you come up with some of your own:

 Live in the moment

As much as I love sharing my everyday life with all of you, sometimes being in front of the camera can get in the way of enjoying the moment. When I’m going for a ride in the car or running in the park, I don’t want to be as worried about getting the purr-fect picture. But don’t worry, I’ll still make time to keep my peeps updated on my latest happenings!

Be an old dog that can learn new tricks

We all know the cliché, “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” Well, I don’t want to be a cliché! This year, I’m going to learn at least one new trick. It might not be easy, but if I really put my mind to it, I know anything is paws-ible.

Be consistent with agility training

Did you know it takes 10,000 hours of practice to master a skill? When it comes to mastering my agility skills, I have quite a way to go. In 2018, I am going to dedicate more time to focusing on my agility training and pushing myself to get better!

Make a difference

I sure am lucky that my Mom adopted me and gave me such a great life. I want to give back to other animals that haven’t been as lucky. Whether it’s advocating for pet adoption or convincing Mom to donate to rescue groups, there are many different ways that I can do my part!

Now that you know my resolutions, I want to hear yours! Tag me in your New Years photos on Instagram or share with me on Facebook, cheers to the best year ever!

Ears Truly,

One Up Max
